Respondents were able to select up to 15 options from 55 available. We note that absolute majority of selected tools are simple, which is in line with our previous observation that simple tools are more than sufficient during initial steps in process improvement programs...

... practical experience demonstrates that starting from the fourth year of process improvement program organizations start using more advanced tools like scatter plots, control charts, box plots (to compare performance of different shifts, production lines etc.), pull systems and others.
